Welcome to Bob's Kidney Kampaign

Hi, I am Bob Evans, no not the restauranteur, but a husband, father of three and papaw of 10 adorable grandchildren. My wife Suzi and I have been married 44 years and she is the love of my life and my greatest supporter. I've lived in the same small community all my life where I graduated High School and am a Veteran having served in the US Army and the Indiana National Guard.

On July 24, 2014 I received one of the greatest gifts someone could receive from a friend. Ray gave me the gift of life and there is nothing I can do to ever repay him for this wonderful gift. I honestly owe him my life. 

Ray is a wonderful giving, humble man and he deseres the Hero of the Year as so do others who have given a part of themselves to save someone's life with organ donation.  I urge each and everyone reading this to consider living donation to spare someone's life. There are many children out there that need an angel donor. Sign the back of your driver's license and become a donor if you feel you can't do a living donation. God has blessed me with a wonderful friend in Ray. I didn't feel like I deserved his gift and there are not enough words to express how I feel but I will be eternal grateful for this second chance at life.
